NEW: Layout Generator Module

What is it?

It is a system which makes it easy for users without layout/design capability to generate consistent, branded marketing materials from pre-designed templates (sometimes known as "web to print").

Any artwork which can be based on templates (i.e. will always have the same layout), and is produced with varying content over time, will benefit from being added to the system. This will typically be leaflets, posters, stationery, forms, etc.

The finished layouts are generated instantly as electronic PDF documents in either screen, laserprint, and/or press quality.

If required, bespoke functionality can also be added, to automatically send the electronic artwork to preferred print companies who would print the physical material.

How does it work?

From a designer's point of view:

• The single or multi-page artwork is created in a standard layout program (e.g. InDesign or Quark).

• The artwork is exported as PDF and opened in Acrobat.

• The designer defines editable text and image regions in the PDF.

• The layout template is uploaded to Brandworkz®, and the template is now ready for end-users to access.

How does it work?

From an end-user's point of view:

• The end-users (e.g. marketing or in-store managers) need to produce some marketing or simple point-of-sale materials.

• Within Brandworkz® they search for templates which are relevant to their needs.

• They click to download either screen, laserprint or press quality artwork.

• This brings up a form to complete where each field represents an editable region in the template.

• The user hits Create and a PDF will be generated within a couple of seconds.

• The finished PDF can be downloaded for in-house print or sent on to a printing house. Once the form is completed, the user hits create and the finished PDF is created.
