Automatic image & artwork generation

Brandworkz® will automatically create a preview of the asset on upload (JPEG, GIF, BMP, PNG, TIFF, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator, PDF, EPS, MPG, AVI, Quicktime, Digital Negative, JBIG2, WMF, RLA, PIX, ICO, PNM, PBM, RLE, WBMP, PCX and more).

Brandworkz is much more than a simple file storage and retrieval system. It can actually manipulate and create new versions of your artwork on demand, i.e. as brandworkz users download them.

The original artwork might be an Adobe Illustrator graphic, a high resolution photograph, even a multi page PDF file. Brandworkz then uses its powerful download wizard to deploy this master file in all specified formats. So, for example, a business user can download it as a low-resolution PDF or JPG file, while your designer might prefer to download a Photoshop (.psd) version.

Other possible manipulations are:

• RGB/CMYK/greyscale conversions
• cropping
• merging with watermarks
• text overlays
• frames
• borders
• layer manipulation of Photoshop files

and many more.

All this is managed and accessed through the intuitive Brandworkz browser interface.

As a Brandworkz administrator, you can create a set of manipulations, such as maximum or minimum image sizes, crops, masks, custom borders, available file formats etc. for artwork folders. For certain artwork, such as logos, you might want to make sure that only the original versions can be downloaded, and therefore restrict all manipulations for this folder.

As a Brandworkz user, you download the artwork in the size and file format you need, according to the allowed manipulations set by the administrator.
You might see download links with pre-set options, such as

• "Download JPEG for web use"
• "Download bitmap for PowerPoint use"
• "Download for professional print use"
• ...or have access to modify file type and other export settings suited to your individual needs, even cropping the image online and subsequently saving in a chosen resolution.
